On September 26, 2025, in active response to the important consensus reached by the leaders of China and Myanmar on deepening strategic cooperation and accelerating the building of a community with a shared future, Yunnan Xincheng Waterproof Science and Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xincheng Waterproof SCI-TECH.") invited Myanmar Construction & Development Infrastructure Co., Ltd. At the beginning of the meeting, Xincheng Waterproof SCI-TECH. provided a detailed introduction to MCDI regarding its corporate development philosophy, business scope, and successful cases in overseas markets, several of which sparked strong interest from the Myanmar side. As a national-level "Little Giant" enterprise specializing in specific sectors with advanced technologies, Xincheng Waterproof SCI-TECH. possesses 208 authorized R&D patents and 26 domestic patent grants, and has established a comprehensive international certification system for its products. Building on this foundation, the company conducts foreign trade business through four major international e-commerce platforms—Alibaba International Station, TikTok, Quan E Tong, and Google—and has established a sales network covering 35 countries across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

During the discussions, both parties focused on the waterproofing needs within Myanmar's infrastructure development and explored potential models for localized cooperation. Chairman Liu Guanlin introduced the company's integrated "industry-academia-research" model and expressed willingness to establish talent strategic partnerships with universities in Myanmar. He stated that, leveraging its nationally leading professional waterproofing R&D platform, Xincheng Waterproof can not only provide solid technical and equipment support for MCDI's high-quality construction projects in building waterproofing and pipeline anti-corrosion but also contribute to Myanmar's post-disaster reconstruction efforts with its products. As an early entrant into the Myanmar market, Xincheng Waterproof SCI-TECH. had already conducted local surveys and research alongside state-owned enterprises as early as 2018, accumulating substantial market experience and mature project solutions. Representatives from MCDI and Xincheng Waterproof conducted a joint analysis of Myanmar's foreign investment incentives (such as tax holidays and industrial zone access conditions) and corresponding Chinese support policies. Both sides agreed that with the deepening implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), cooperation opportunities between Chinese and Myanmar enterprises in the building materials sector will further expand. Through this deepened collaboration with MCDI, Xincheng Waterproof will follow a systematic cooperation path of "products-equipment-talent" to steadily expand the scope and depth of cooperation, ultimately aiming to boost local economic development and set a new benchmark for China-Myanmar production capacity cooperation.
